Viewing Your Analytics, Sessions and Transcripts

In this step-by-step guide, we will show you how to view your analytics and get a better understanding of how you can use Job Interview Simulations feedback for your improvement.

1. First, complete at least two interviews. Once you have completed two or more interviews, the analytics and feedback for all your completed sessions will appear on the home page.

2. Here is a quick overview of each part of the analytics/feedback and how it can be used to improve your learning.

The section at the top of the page will show your number of completed interviews, time practiced and your last three sessions played.

Next is the communication section. It shows your average speech rate and most used filler words. Hover over a point on the graph to see your average syllables per second for any specific section.

The next section measures your interview length and answer length. On the answer length graph, you will see your longest answer for the session in blue and shortest answer in red. The green area on each graph shows you a target answer length, as you can see this user's answers are too short on average.

The final section provides you with a language metric that tracks four different key parts of your speech during an interview. To view additional details on a specific part, just click on the word.

3. Here is each language metric defined individually.

First, Sophistication. Measuring the level of vocabulary, using unique words to convey your message will result in a higher score.

Second, Fluency. Measuring your ability to speak at a consistent rate without large pauses or long filler words.

Third, Variety. Measuring your richness of word choices, repeating the same word many times will cause this score to decrease.

Fourth, Meaningful words. Measuring the number of function words (such as - the, a, of) used and content words (such as - dog, amount, at) used. It's important to have a healthy balance of both types of words.

Note that If you forget any of this information, you can hover over the gray 'i' in the top right corner of each box for a quick reminder.

4. To view individual session analytics, scroll to the top of the page and click on either ‘See all your sessions’ or the ‘Your Sessions’ tab.

5. Select a session you want to look at and click 'View'.

6. At the top, you can look at how long the session lasted, number of questions answered and number of questions repeated.

If you scroll down the page you will see analytics, just like on the home page, for speech rate, filler words used, answer length, and a language metric for this specific session.

7. To view your transcript, scroll to the top of the page and click 'Transcript'.

Here you can listen to your answers to individual questions or the whole interview.

You can also view and download the text transcript for your review.
