Setting up Your Mic & Checking if Your System Is Supported



In this short guide, we show you how to fix your mic, speaker and check if your system is supported.





1. Click on the ‘Settings’ tab in the bottom left corner of your screen.





2. Your browser will ask you to allow access to your mic, click 'Allow'.





If you accidentally click 'Block', just go up to the search bar, click the lock icon and turn on the mic.





3. In Settings, check that your microphone is correct, speakers are working, and you have the three green check marks under the ‘System’ section.





If all of these are correct, you are set up and ready to start your job interview simulation!

If not, continue to the next step for additional support.


4. If your mic is not working, here is how to fix it on your Windows computer.


Go to the windows search bar, in the bottom left corner of your screen, and type in "sound settings".




Here you will be able to see your output and input device. Click the dropdown to select a new device.


Reload the page for any changes to take effect.




5. If you do not see the three green check marks under ‘System’, go to the help document at the bottom for a step-by-step guide on how to troubleshoot this problem.
